Baptist Health & Rehab Celebrates Four Best of the Best 2026 Honors

At Baptist Health & Rehab, we often say, “At Baptist, we are family.” This year, that family spirit was reflected in an extraordinary way.

We are honored to celebrate four Bismarck Tribune Best of the Best 2026 awards, including recognition for two exceptional nurses and two community-wide honors that reflect the dedication of our entire team.

These awards belong not only to those recognized by name, but also to the employees, residents, families, and supporters who make Baptist such a special place to live, work, and receive care.

Two members of the Baptist nursing team received individual recognition this year, highlighting the compassion, expertise, and commitment that define nursing at Baptist Health & Rehab.

We are thrilled to celebrate Ruby Claravall, who was named the Bismarck Tribune’s Best of the Best 2026 #1 Nurse.

Ruby joined Baptist Health & Rehab four years ago as a World Wide Health nurse. When her contract ended, she made a decision that has had a lasting impact on our community: she chose to stay.

Since then, Ruby has become a respected leader, trusted caregiver, and valued member of the Baptist family. Her dedication to residents and families, combined with her clinical expertise and compassionate approach, has earned the admiration of coworkers and those she serves every day.

This recognition reflects the difference Ruby makes in the lives of others, and we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishment.

We are equally excited to celebrate Jo Ibach, who was named Best of the Best 2026 Favorite Nurse.

Jo’s recognition is especially meaningful because it follows an incredible milestone: 30 years of service as a nurse at Baptist Health & Rehab.

For three decades, Jo has cared for residents, supported families through important moments, and served alongside generations of teammates. Her compassion, loyalty, and unwavering commitment have made a lasting difference in countless lives.

Thirty years of service is a remarkable achievement. Jo’s dedication exemplifies the heart of Baptist and the meaningful relationships that have defined our community for decades.

In addition to individual honors, Baptist Health & Rehab was named the Bismarck Tribune’s Best of the Best #1 Large Place to Work for 2026.

This recognition represents years of growth and commitment to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Our journey in this category tells a story of continuous progress:

  • 2000: #3 Large Place to Work
  • 2022: #2 Large Place to Work
  • 2026: #1 Large Place to Work

From #3 to #2 to #1, this achievement reflects the culture our employees have built together.

Every day, Baptist team members bring their hearts to work. They support one another, celebrate successes together, and create an environment where meaningful work and meaningful relationships go hand in hand. Being recognized as the area’s top large employer is a direct reflection of the people who make Baptist feel like family.

Baptist Health & Rehab also earned the distinction of being named the Bismarck Tribune’s Best of the Best #1 Nursing Home for 2026.

This recognition carries special significance because it continues a remarkable tradition. Since 2018, Baptist has been recognized as the area’s #1 Nursing Home, a testament to the consistent dedication and excellence of our team.

While awards are meaningful, what matters most is what they represent. This honor reflects the trust residents and families place in us, the commitment our employees bring to their work every day, and the support of the Bismarck-Mandan community.

Providing exceptional care is a team effort, and this recognition belongs to everyone who contributes to making Baptist a place where residents feel respected, supported, and at home.

Receiving four Best of the Best 2026 honors is an incredible achievement, but what makes these awards truly special is the people behind them.

We congratulate Ruby Claravall and Jo Ibach on their well-deserved recognition. We also celebrate every employee whose dedication helped make Baptist Health & Rehab the #1 Large Place to Work and the #1 Nursing Home.

To everyone who voted, supported us, and continues to place your trust in Baptist Health & Rehab, thank you.

We are proud. We are grateful. We are honored.

Most importantly, at Baptist, we are family.
