Baptist Health & Rehab is proud to celebrate Theresa Mees, who has been selected as one of only four Caregivers of the Year by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association (NDLTCA).
This distinguished statewide honor recognizes exceptional caregivers serving residents in assisted living and long-term care communities across North Dakota.
Theresa will represent Baptist Health & Rehab at the NDLTCA spring gala, where she will be formally recognized for her excellence in caregiving and unwavering commitment to those she serves.
An Honor Rooted in Family and Resident Voices
What makes this award especially meaningful is how caregivers are nominated. Submissions come directly from residents and their family members, offering a deeply personal reflection of the care and compassion experienced firsthand.
This year, the NDLTCA received 823 nominations. From that remarkable pool, NDLTCA selected only four, making Theresa’s recognition an extraordinary achievement.
Fifteen Years of Care From the Heart
Theresa has been a valued member of the Baptist Health & Rehab team for 15 years. Her approach to caregiving reflects both skill and genuine empathy, qualities that clearly resonate with the families she serves.
As Baptist Health & Rehabilitation Administrator Deanna Berg shared:
“Theresa cares for the residents not only with her hands but with her heart. We are so proud of Theresa for being nominated and receiving this award.”
Being nominated by a family member and selected for this statewide honor speaks volumes about Theresa’s compassion, integrity and dedication. We are honored to celebrate her achievement and the difference she makes every day at Baptist Health & Rehab.
