Baptist Health & Rehab encourages intergenerational activities. One young volunteer has taken that idea to a new level.
Archer spends time playing Tic-Tac-Toe with a resident named Bev several times a week. They regularly played on a “community” board several times a week.
Archer decided Bev should have her own Tic-Tac-Toe board and decided to give one to her.
It’s a gift that keeps giving as the two continue to connect, just as the X’s and O’s on the board. Now, that’s a game that everyone wins!
Children make such a difference in the lives of our residents. We would love for you to volunteer as a family. Give us a call at 701-989-7415 for more information.
